Photo was taken near Wicklow Head, Wicklow Town, (Irl)

In the middle of the current heatwave in Ireland, every drop of water is precious. This photo taken 10 years ago captures the journey of a drop of water.
A single drop of water free falls from a lichen under a cliff face with bright sunlight putting the spotlight onto it from behind.

'Fear of failure must never be a reason not to try something.' ~Fred Smith

We all have our own fears and many of them are reasonable and understandable. But we also have fears that are unreasonable. They could best be described using the image of a swimming pool. You are thinking of going for a swim and someone shouts, 'Come on in. The water's fine.' You put your toe into the water and shrink back, thinking the water is too cold. But as you stand and watch, you notice that everyone else in the pool continues having a great time. So you decide to join them and for a few seconds its cold and then you realise the water is fine. The initial fear and reservation is quickly forgotten. The same goes with many of our fears. We allow them to control us. The invitation instead is to use our fears to motivate us onto better things.
